Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Optician to join our team. The Optician will assist customers in selecting and fitting eyewear, providing exceptional customer service and expertise in optical products.

Duties:
- Assist customers in selecting frames that complement their features and prescription
- Take accurate facial measurements and educate customers on proper frame and lens options
- Adjust and fit eyewear for comfort and visual acuity
- Process orders for lenses and eyewear while ensuring accuracy
- Provide guidance on lens selection based on prescription requirements
- Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and other optical supplies

Skills:
- Experience in retail sales or retail management preferred
- Knowledge of optical products and services
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to eyewear production
- Understanding of vital signs and physiology knowledge for eye health assessment
- Proficiency in retail math for transactions and inventory management
- Ability to use aseptic techniques when handling eyewear
- Familiarity with electronic medical records related to optometric care
